JL Properties was formed in 1990 by the two current principals, Jonathan Rubini and Leonard Hyde. Over the history of the company, JL has managed a large and growing portfolio of properties owned by affiliated entities with a combined total value in excess of one billion dollars. Our current managed portfolio contains in excess of one million square feet of commercial space, and more than 3,400 multi-family units. Our corporate offices are located in Anchorage, Alaska where a strong and growing local economy combined with an attractive quality of life, provide strategic advantages to long-term real estate development. Today, JL finds itself as the largest and most active real estate development and management firm in Alaska, and has recently made strategic acquisitions in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Construction of the JL Tower completes a very successful 6-year development period. During that time, JL has developed 8 office buildings totaling over 1 million sq. ft. of Class A office space, and additionally, 1,200 military housing units.
